More film festival success for cattle and conservation documentary

Guardians of the Grasslands, the short documentary funded by the Public and Stakeholder Engagement program along with Ducks Unlimited Canada and the Nature Conservancy of Canada, has been selected for an additional four film festivals since April 2020.

The film was nominated in both Short Subject Non-Fiction and Research categories for the Yorkton Film Festival in Saskatchewan. It was also chosen as an Official Selection at the Big Sound Film Festival in Parry Falls, Ontario and WILDsound Film Festival in Toronto, ON.

Just this week the Oakville Film Festival announced that Guardians of the Grasslands would join other environmental themed films at their virtual event being held in partnership with the Halton Environmental Network, taking place on June 18, 2020. These additional events bring the total number of film festival selections to ten thus far.
